Third arrest made in Brampton murder case

Police in Peel Region have made a third arrest in the murder of 27 year old Poonam Litt. Litt’s brother-in-law, Skinder Punia, from Brampton, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. The victim’s sister-in-law, 35 year old Mandeep Punia has already been charged with murder while her father-in-law, 63 year old Kulwant Singh Litt, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Litt went missing in February 2009 and her remains were found in Caledon in february of this year.
