Toronto Police investigate assault with a weapon at Jane and Lawrence

The Toronto Police are asking for your help in locating a suspect who stabbed a 41 year old man in the back in the Jane/Lawrence area on Friday.  It is reported that the suspect got on the bus from the Jane/Bloor West station and got off at the intersection of Jane and Lawrence, where he approached the victim from behind and stabbed him.  The victim was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries.  The suspect is described as black, 6′, skinny build, short hair and glasses.  Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
