Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, GTA, Toronto

Monday expected to be the warmest day of the year, so far. Hot, humid air is moving into the GTA, according to Environment Canada. Meteorologist Arnold Ashton says the temperature will spike to over 30 degrees and with humidity it will feel closer to 38 or 39. Ashton says there may be more thunderstorms Monday night, following the dramatic light show in the morning. He also says the temperatures will then drop for the rest of the week, even falling to a few degrees below normal.
