Power problems in northern Oshawa Sunday

About 3,000 people were impacted by a power outage in northern areas of Oshawa, and into Port Perry Sunday morning. According to the Oshawa PUC, the problems were caused by defective equipment. The affected area includes Ritson Road North, Simcoe Street North and Thornton Road North. Officials say all problems will be cleared shortly.
