Tow truck protest could stall the Wednesday morning commute

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, GTA, Roads, Toronto

Tow truck drivers could cause traffic troubles, Wednesday. Hundreds of independent operators will be travelling to Queen’s Park in order to protest the rate they receive from insurance companies, as well as plans by the OPP to contract towing operations. The tow trucks are expected to come from across the city, and converge into a slow moving convoy on the Don Valley Parkway around 8:00 am.
