Crime Stoppers asks for help finding the suspect responsible for graffiti in Whitby

Durham police are looking to the public for help, as they investigate a number of graffiti incidents in the Whitby area. Officials say one of those incidents was at Stafford Monuments, on Dundas Street East, where a male suspect defaced several monuments. The incident happened on April 5th and damage was pegged at about $3,000. The suspect is described as 18 to 20 years old and was wearing a yellow sweatshirt with a hood, blue plaid or patterned pants or jeans, a white t-shirt, dark shoes and was carrying a blue back-pack.
