Durham Police arrest one of the RCMP’s most wanted fugitives

Durham Police have arrested a man wanted by authorities in B.C., Calgary and Toronto. Officials say Appollo Alex Verde, was one of the RCMP’s most wanted fugitives. The 38 year-old from Toronto, is accused of committing several fraud and identity theft related offences as well as criminal harassment and threatening death. It’s believed that Verde defrauded several Canadian banks out of millions of dollars over the past 10 years.
