There’s continued turbulence at Ontario’s troubled air ambulance service. Testifying ahead of a legislative committee, Barry McLellan says Ornge is struggling to meet staffing needs. The new board member says there’s a lack of qualified pilots and acute care paramedics and the agency is still looking for a solution to paramedics being unable to perform CPR because of the design of the interiors of the new helicopters. McLellan says a temporary solution is in place, but it will be months before they settle on something more permanent.
