Harper cabinet expenses revealed, as fallout continues over MP Bev Oda’s lavish England trip

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Politics

Durham MP Bev Oda felt the heat recently for her over-spending while on a trip to the UK last year, but she barely cracks the top five when it comes to big spenders in Stephen Harpers cabinet. The title of highest roller goes to Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, who has racked up a bill of $271,489 since March 2010. Ritz’s spokeswoman, Meagan Murdoch, says all of his travels helped the country’s exports hit a record high of $44 billion in 2011. Also finishing above Oda are Finance Minister and Whitby-Oshawa MP Jim Flaherty, Defense Minister Peter Mackay and Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird.

So she says sorry and thats it? Thats probably why she keeps doing it. All she has to do is say sorry and it’s all good. Maybe someone who robs a bank should just say sorry too and they should be ok as well and not get into trouble. She is robbing tax payers, the bank robber robbing the bank… almost the same thing.

Last time I checked, being raped (the taxpayers) is not consentual.
They are all at the public trough, it’s just a question of who are the biggest pigs there?
