Toronto Police Constable charged by SIU in relation to December shooting

The Special Investigations Unit has charged a Toronto Police Constable after a man was shot during an interaction. The SIU says it has reasonable grounds to believe Constable Cory Dunk committed criminal offences in the shooting of 27 year-old Liboth Bangala last in December. Dunk, who is scheduled to appear in court June 5th, faces a charge of assault with a weapon, and one count of careless use of a firearm.
