For third straight year, use-of-force incidents drop in Toronto

For the third straight year, use-of-force incidents in Toronto have dropped. The latest data shows in the first six months of 2011, there were 631 recorded incidents involving use of force, which was down 29 per cent from 2008. The numbers come out in the midst of public uproar over the recent killings of mentally distressed people in the city.
