Durham Police looking to public for information after several graffiti incidents in Whitby

Durham Police are looking for a lone male suspect after a series of graffiti incidents in Whitby. Authorities say $3,000 worth of damage was done when four headstones were defaced on April 5th at Stafford Monuments on Dundas Street East. Police say graffiti was also found in several nearby areas including an elementary school and at a number of bus shelters. The suspect is described as 18 to 20 years old and was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, blue plaid or patterned pants or jeans, a white t-shirt, dark shoes and was carrying a blue backpack.
