Woman hit by an alleged drunk driver in Whitby

A 33 year-old Clarington woman suffered a leg injury early Sunday morning when she was hit by a vehicle, in Whitby. Durham Police say the woman was getting into a cab on Brock Street, near Dunlop, around 3:00 am, when she was struck. Police allege the driver was impaired. 45 year-old Jennifer Hindle is facing charges, including impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
