The mysterious Oshawa connection continues to puzzle the masses, as Saturday marks the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories

It was 100 years ago today the HMS Titanic hit and iceberg, and by 2:20 a.m. April 15th, 1912, the unsinkable ship sunk into the frigid waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The story is well-known by many, but owner of Watters Marketing, a Whitby company which sells Titanic memorabilia, George Watters says he was most facinated by the stort of a post card featuring an Oshawa church, which had been brought up from the depths. Watters is hosting a commemorative cruise this evening, out of Queens Quay in Toronto, marking the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
