Oshawa teen suffers burns to her face at a bonfire

Durham Police are reminding anyone spending time outdoors and enjoying the spring weather to make safety a top priority. Police say a group of teens set out for a bonfire on Saturday evening in a wooded area of Stevenson Road North in Oshawa. Gasoline and other items were thrown in to fuel the fire and a 16 year old girl suffered serious burns to her face. She’s being treated at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
