Anti-poverty protesters challenge the provincial budget

Protesters will rally in downtown Toronto on Friday. The anti-poverty activists will wave placards and chant outside the provincial Ministry of Housing, in the Bay and College area, around noon. The group says the upcoming budget’s austerity measures are meant to benefit corporate citizens, and ask for a fiscal plan that benefits everyone.
