Toronto Police arrest five men after restaurant robbery

Toronto police responded to an armed robbery this morning and arrested five men. The men entered a Lobster Trap restaurant on 1962 Avenue Road with their faces covered and armed with guns and a knife. The five men ordered three employees and eight patrons to the ground and proceeded to rob the occupants of their money and cell phones, as well as cash from the registers. Brian Pich, 23, of Mississauga, Javon Edwards, 24 of Toronto, Brian Mensah, 22, of Toronto, Awale Dirie, 18, of Toronto and Aman Ali, 18, of Toronto, are all charged with 11 counts of robbery while armed with a firearm, 11 counts of forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent.
