Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, GTA, Toronto

The Provinces Special Investigations Unit concluded that no charges need to be filed against a pair of Peel Region Police officers involved in a shooting last year. The incident took place in Brampton in November, when the two men fired a total of 8 shots at a suspect who had refused to listen to their orders. The suspect, 24 year old Terrance Roopchand, was treated for non life threatening injuries after he was hit by two bullets while fleeing police after being caught in a sting operation involving a civilian.
