Roughly 400 jobs being cut by Sears Canada

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Business

Sears Canada is cutting roughly 400 jobs across the country as it closes nearly all of its in-store cafes.  Company Spokesman Vincent Power says the cuts are part of a plan to improve operations. The cuts follow the loss of about 70 head office jobs at Sears Canada late last year. Sears has roughly 30,000 employees across Canada working at more than 400 corporate, dealer and home services stores.
