Canada’s economy second best in G7 according to BMO

Canada’s economy ranked second according to the Bank of Montreal’s annual report card of the seven big industrial nations this year. According to BMO, Germany’s lower unemployment rate and current account surplus placed them ahead of Canada. Italy, which is facing a major sovereign debt crisis, fared worst in the group.
