Car and train collide in York Region killing one man

A man is dead after a collision between a car and a passenger train in East Gwillimbury. York Police say the 48 year old was driving a small car when he was struck at a crossing just before 6 Sunday night. They say the crossing signals were working properly. No one on the train from Toronto to North Bay was injured.
