ONTARIO WARNS CONSUMERS TO BEWARE OF SOME MOVERS

We’re smack dab in the middle of moving season, and the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services is warning the public about what to look for when selecting a moving company. Minister Sophia Aggelonitis says people need to be careful and help is out there. The government has resources including a list of companies they’ve received complaints on, for more information click here. Back in May, a total of 160 charges were laid following a 3 month investigation into a Toronto area moving scam.
