NEW SUPERBUG NOW IN CANADA

A Canadian has been affected by a new strain of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The case of the superbug was reported in February and it involved a woman who had travelled to India. She was treated there unsuccessfully before being transferred to Vancouver, where doctors were able to find an effective mix of drugs to battle the bug. The superbug is reportedly wide spread in India.
