BUILDING ACTIVITY BOOMING IN OSHAWA

Building activity in Oshawa is booming, as the city begins to emerge from the recession. City officials say there were a total of 355 building permits sold last month, up almost 150 percent from the same month last year. Year-to-date numbers are on the rise as well. At this point in 2009, a total of 593 building permits had been sold and this year, it’s already reached more than 1100 permits
